Enemies in peroxide are any entities that attack the player. this may include hollows, arrancars, quincies, and soul reapers. They spawn with random skills, and the arrancars and soul reapers can be divided into 3 tiers:
- Single-point: these enemies only use basic race abilities, and do not have modes. single-point enemies generally do not have accessories ,and are usually invasion enemies ,such as storm guards. these enemies grant 1 point towards D rank invasion's enemy killing objective.
- Double-point: these enemies, alongside using basic race abilities, also use one of the race's respective primary modes, as well as all of the skills said mode might have. these enemies have random accessories picked from a pool of accessories. these include incursion enemies for quincies and soul reapers, rogue shinigami, and certain storm guards, as well as all quincies in wandenreich (none of the incursion/wandenreich quincies seem to have random accessories from what i've observed). so named because in an invasion, they grant 2 points towards D rank invasion's enemy killing objective.
- Espada/captain: these enemies wield not only a primary mode, but a secondary mode as well. they are only encountered as mission objectives for B and S rank invasions, and seem to always have specific accessories that they wear.
Enemies also follow specific behavior patterns depending on where they are found. For example; enemies found in incursions generally follow the "basic ai", where coming into a certain radius of them causes them to attack. Guard enemies, such as storm guards, only attack if provoked from an attack or if they see you holding a stolen object.
Both of these prohibit multiple enemies from attacking the player all at once, with enemies not currently in battle with you circling around you. S rank invasion npcs follow "ai 3", which seems to be a combination of guard ai (enemies attack when they see you), and hollow ai, which does not restrict enemies to attacking one at a time. Hollow/nonhumanoid npc behavior differs in that they will attack unprovoked, and will also attack in groups.
