Description[]
The Impure Hogyoku (short: Hog) is a rare dropable item obtained from the normal Time Remnant. It allows Soul Reaper and Hollows (mainly Adjuchas and Menos) to become stronger by speeding up their progress or unlock new forms.
Obtainment[]
You can get an Impure Hogyoku by using a Time Remnant, a rare item obtainable in Invasions, Incursions and Time Gates. The chance of getting a Time Remnant are:
- Invasions (F/D ranks) – 0.1%
- Incursions – 0.1%
- Invasions (B rank) – 0.2%
- Time Gate – 0.6% (only if your team wins)
- Note : After 45 Wins in Time Gates, you are guaranteed to get a Time Remnant.
- Weekly quests
- Dr. Hydrogen's Scrapper Machine (you can get a Time Remnant or an Impure Hogyoku)
- Trading

Tips[]
- The most efficent way to get a Time Remnant is to grind S- Rank Invasions (do everything) until you have lots of Legendary Accessories and go to the Trade Hub to trade for them.
Trivia[]
- It is one of the hardest items to get
- Despite belief it is not one of the items with the most value in trading but it is the item used to measure value in trading.
- There are rumors saying that the S- rank invasions can drop a Time Remnant, but it's wrong, they can only give an Unstable Time Remnant, which do not allow to get an Impure Hogyoku
