Invasions is a gamemode within Peroxide. In this gamemode, players storm an important area belonging to an organization and then extract. Players can invade Soul Society with the Captain Tojo NPC as a Soul Reaper, Hueco Mundo with Xavier as a Hollow/Arrancar, or the Wandenreich with the General Alberich NPC as a Quincy/Quincycar. After completing an invasion, the player is rewarded with a stat increase of their choice and 4 randomized items from a chest. Bringing additional players reduces the number of items per player (down to 3) for F–B Rank invasions, but this penalty does not apply to S- Rank invasions.

All chests despawn after a short time.

Each invasion tier is unlocked when the player reaches the corresponding rank.

To locate the invasion NPC in a given location, use Reiatsu Sense to find a purple triangle symbol with smaller triangles on each of its three faces.

F Rank: Steal an Artifact[]

In F Rank invasions, the player must steal an artifact of importance from the organization and bring it back to the NPC who sent them. When the player returns to their portal with the artifact, a white circle will appear; the player must stay within this circle for 15 seconds. Two NPCs will spawn in the area and ambush the player during this time, but being attacked does not cancel the extraction, as the game removes the combat tag and teleports the player out after the timer ends.

Taking a path with as few NPCs as possible makes this mission more efficient. Getting knocked back will cause the player to drop the item. Obtaining a disguise makes this mission extremely easy, as enemies will not aggro unless attacked.

D Rank: Assassinate Guards[]

In D Rank invasions, the player must assassinate 5 guards in the area. The total number of kills required scales with how many players are in the invasion, so larger groups will need to eliminate more guards. It is recommended to avoid anger large groups of enemies, as they will chase the player; a disguise helps a lot here.

Shikai users in D Rank invasions count as 2 points instead of 1 towards the assassination requirement, making them valuable targets if the player can safely defeat them. One strategy is to camp a spawn where a single guard appears and repeatedly defeat them, but this becomes less viable when multiple players are present and competing for the same spot.

B Rank: Kill a High-Profile Enemy[]

In B Rank invasions, the player must first kill 5 guards and then eliminate a high-profile target: either a Captain (Soul Society) or a Storm Espada (Hueco Mundo). As with D Rank, the total kills scale with party size, increasing the number of eliminations needed when more players participate.

Shikai users in B Rank invasions also count as 2 points instead of 1 towards the initial guard-kill requirement, allowing players to finish the quota faster by prioritizing them. The Captain/Espada will always have Bankai or Segunda Etapa and will use it when reaching roughly 1/3 HP (33%). It is recommended to pull the boss to an area without guards to avoid extra aggro. Using a disguise is also highly recommended, as only the Captain/Espada can see through it.

While disguises can be harder to obtain for Hueco Mundo invasions (depending on the route taken), Las Noches is away from most players who are not doing invasions, so interruptions there are rarer. Both Soul Society and Hueco Mundo B Ranks have their own risks and advantages.

S- Rank: Raid a Facility[]

The S- Rank invasion is the final and most difficult invasion mission, involving a large-scale raid on a facility. S- Rank invasions are the longest in the game but also among the most rewarding, having the highest chance for Legendary and Godly drops. They can grant an Unstable Time Remnant as part of the reward pool; when an Unstable Time Remnant is obtained, it replaces the regular Time Remnant reward.

The objectives are randomized on each run, but most involve destroying key targets. After completing 3 objectives, the player will either be tasked with escorting a prisoner back to spawn (granting a point bonus if the prisoner survives) or defeating an Espada/Captain, depending on the invaded location. Once all 4 main objectives are complete, players have 30 seconds before reinforcements arrive. Reinforcements can consist of Menos, Vastolordes, and Arrancars in Hueco Mundo, or 9 Shinigami capable of using Shikai in Soul Society. Kenpachi has a chance to appear shortly after reinforcements, granting 2 extra points on the results screen and having a small chance to drop special items when defeated.

There are also 10 bonus objectives, which involve finding all 10 Storm Anchors/Temporal Reishi Gourds and extracting them at spawn. Usually, the final objective is to slay an Espada or Captain, but it can sometimes be replaced with a prisoner-extraction objective; successfully extracting the prisoner grants additional points, making it ideal for farming rare drops. The ending chests that appear after extraction despawn after some time even if they are not opened, just like normal chests.

Once every task is complete, players must stand in the white circle at spawn for 10 seconds to be extracted. They are then taken to the results room, where they receive points based on their performance. Players can still be extracted to the rewards room even if they are in combat.

Players can gain more points by:

  • Clearing the mission quickly (with time thresholds that grant extra points).
  • Killing most or all enemies in the map.
  • Completing the invasion solo or with only one teammate.
  • Defeating all reinforcements.
  • Rescuing the secret captive and bringing them to spawn.

Additional bonus points can be earned for killing more than 100% of enemies (more likely when sub-objectives that spawn extra enemies appear, such as breaking red boxes) or killing more than 100% of reinforcements (which is largely RNG-based). It is possible to reach scores of around 18 points in extreme cases, especially if a single player can clear the map very quickly and defeat Kenpachi, though achieving such runs is highly impractical for most players. There is also a secret Shinigami/Arrancar that can be killed for extra points.

Trivia & Tips[]

  • When assassinating guards, those with Shikai or Resurrección are worth 2 points instead of 1 and can be identified by their accessories or distinctive patrol behavior.
  • From F to B Ranks, players can obtain a disguise by bringing a knocked guard to Miguel (Soul Society) or Tohjin (Hueco Mundo). Disguises prevent enemies from becoming aggressive unless attacked first.
  • Bringing 2 or more players into F, D, and B Rank invasions reduces the number of loot items per player to 3.
  • In S- Rank invasions, players receive special dialogue from the invasion NPC wishing them good luck before starting.
  • In Soul Society invasions, some F Rank missions can be completed without fighting by using houses and walls to hide from guards. However, if the Temporal Reishi Gourd spawns on the stairway to Muken, this strategy may not be possible. The ambush that occurs after extracting the Gourd also cannot be fully avoided without a disguise (with a disguise, the enemies still spawn but do not aggro).
  • When fighting the Captain/Espada in B Ranks, it is recommended to bait them into an area with no guards to avoid accidental aggro. A disguise helps greatly here, since only the Captain/Espada can see through it.
  • You gain points from defeating guards with Shikai/Resurrección and from defeating Espadas/Captains.
  • If companions leave without you in F–B Ranks, you cannot obtain loot, as you will be forced to exit by other means. This does not apply to S- Rank invasions, where each player’s extraction timer is tracked separately. Even if a player dies in an S- Rank invasion, they will respawn in the loot room as long as at least one teammate successfully extracts.
