Quincy Progression Guide: Part V [Vollstandig Boss]

Upon reaching level 90+ and following Yhwach’s directives, the Quincy player ventures into the enigmatic house, only to encounter a seemingly inert Stone Robot. As the player enters the room, the Ancient Automaton springs to life, its form infused with vibrant Reishi, setting the stage for an epic confrontation.

Phase 1 unfolds with unexpected challenges, as the Ancient Automaton proves more formidable than anticipated. It unleashes Reishi-fueled blasts that illuminate the entire arena, their destructive paths leaving nothing unscathed. You quickly deduce that conventional attacks are ineffective against the Automaton, realizing that the key to inflicting damage lies in parrying its energy blasts and countering with powerful strikes. After an arduous battle, the Ancient Automaton succumbs, and its supply of Reishi is finally depleted. Is this the conclusion?

TIP: If you are taking too much damage, reset your stats at Hobo Monk you'll need 8000¥ and put at least 160 on Vitality. You can also hide in a corner since the boss does move around quite alot, but when facing you in a corner, its movement will be VERY limited. It'll help you focus on parrying as the attack can only come from one direction.

Phase 2 marks the ultimate trial. An opened door ushers you into another chamber, where you confront another Stone Figure. Unlike its predecessor, this figure lacks flashy abilities, and conventional attacks can damage it. It refrains from saturating the arena with Reishi blasts. As you near victory, Yhwach himself intervenes, sacrificing imprisoned Soul Reapers to replenish the Stone Figure’s Reishi, triggering a transformation into Vollstandig. Empowered by the stolen Reishi, the Stone Figure heals and uses the player's Vollstandig ability.

This moment signifies the commencement of the true battle, a climactic clash that will determine the victor.

Side note: If your rank is S- or higher, there is a checkpoint after phase 1.
